SWS membership is open to all current students of City of London College. There is a one-off membership fee of just £1.

All the members should abide by the following Code of Conduct:
- Members must not participate in any activity which is illegal, or which may be seen as leading to any unlawful act.
- At all times members must act in a way which improves and encourages understanding and harmony between all students
- All actions by members and any activities must enhance the reputation of CLC and not bring it into disrepute
- Any member taking actions or using words in breach of this Code will face expulsion from the Society.
