Established in 1979, City of London College is a further and Higher Education College located in close proximity to the UK's financial centre. It is one of the longest-established and most respected private providers of education and training in London, with a clear focus on delivering high quality yet affordable courses for international students. Major programmes of study offered by the college can lead right up to Master's level through the College's strategic partnerships with UK universities. COURSES OFFERED
Pearsons PTE Academic Test
The College is one of the few registered examination centres in London for the Pearsons PTE Academic Test –which satisfies the UK Border Agency English requirements when applying for visas or British Citizenship, as well as helping with applications to higher education generally. The Test is completely on-line, and marking is carried out within five days, making it the most convenient test of its kind. Suitable for students who already have achieved a minimum B1 standard of English on the Common European Framework.
Trinity College SEW (Spoken English for Work)
This examination aims to maximize your career and employment prospects, either in the UK or wherever fluent English is required in the workplace. Suitable for students who have at least B1 standard of English.
General courses
The College can also provide short periods of study tailored to individual preferences and starting points, including preparation for IELTS and TOEIC examinations.
Costs
The College is proud of its record of providing high-quality tuition at reasonable prices, for example, a four-week programme of study consisting of 15 hours of classes per week could be as low as £240 (revise price!)
Flexibility
Students may benefit from taking an English course at one of a number of the College’s associate colleges, including locations in Dublin, Valletta (Malta) and Toronto. A course could be designed whereby a student combined periods of study at more than associate college.
Accommodation
The College provides home-stay accommodation with British families, if required.
